I love to snowmobile. Being a farmer its the only time I can do anything and not feel guilty about NOT working. So snowsledding it is.

Its nice just to be out on the trails and enjoying Maine, like seeing Baxter State Park in the winter, and all the other places Maine has to offer on its 13,000 miles of groomed snowmobile trails. Most of the time I ride alone and get to go where I want and when. Its just nice but winter is far too short.

Here is a picture near Baxter Rapids on the way from Millinockett to Matagamon in Baxter State Park.

I do not like winter. My best hobby is figuring out how to avoid going outside. It is a great time for me to catch up on reading. I was born and raised in Maine..have never liked winter. I grew up snowmobiling, sliding, skating and all of the other stuff. My mother would make us go outside and play and do these things. I did it because I had to but never liked it. I am looking forward to a few weeks from now when we start gaining time again.

After having my 2nd baby in December two years in a row, my doctor told me she was going to lock me in her back room come March! 'Round here, that's called "Spring Fever"!

Oh, well, not everyone hits the top of the Bell curve.

But I gotta hand it to ya, having a second baby two years in a row is something few other women have done.

(I'm sorry, maybe I should have been an English teacher.)

Wow, I didn't realize they allowed sleds in Baxter. I thought they had a no machine rule.

That's where my honey and I met...ah, history.
