Our fiddleheads are coming up right now, and will be for another week or so.

Locally fiddleheads sell for $2 to $4 per pound.

If anyone wants to come and pick, I have a few acres that are ready to be picked, right now.

It would need to be accomplished within the next week or so. Not a big window.

Had some fiddleheads this past weekend that I picked up at Graffam Bros Seafood in Rockport. After reading about possible food poisoning risks, I boiled them in salted water for 10 mins before sauteeing them in butter and herbs for 2 mins. A little salt and pepper to finish them off and they were right tasty. Did remind me a little of asparagus, but milder.
