Perhaps I owe an explanation. Two days earlier I received two unexpected reps that had me end up with a triple six. Now I'm not normally superstitious, however, back in the early 90's, I started to see the number everywhere, more frequently than one would expect from coincidence. Three or four times a day I would see it on the license plate of the car ahead in traffic - usually don't see it but once or twice a year. It would be in phone numbers lettered on commercial trucks. It would show up two or three times a day in text, when I was reading something. And more. It was literally "jumping off the walls." After a couple of days, several major life changing (for the worse) events came crashing down. Jeez!!! After having survived all that the number was not to be seen. Now since that time I have been wary of the number, and having it under my info on the forum caused some, perhaps rediculous concern.

So I came back here to "Maine" where I know a few folks and hoped that someone could give me just one bump so to get past the difficult number. I did not expect 20 !!! It is an embarrassment of riches. But also an unexpected delight, although still a little embarrassing

So thank you kind souls, those identified and those not. Please let me know whatever I can do for you. And no more reps for a long time

I too am pretty superstitious so I understood completely. I once lived in Bowdoin for a few years, the telephone exchange for that area was that same number.

I couldn't wait to sell that house and get the (hell) out of town! I've also been known to stop the car if I see a black cat in the road while trying to figure out which direction he's just come from.
Yup, that's just me.

I was going to post a picture of Sidney, my pure black cat, but she's looking at the camera and thought it might freak you out rather than be a giggle.

I've heard it's GOOD luck to own one! It wouldn't freak me out, I'd just let her walk in front of me, then determine my own route, never crossing hers!
