well, I turned 41---what I find unbelievable is not the age, but how I remember them as I did in that movie/show! it's just funny how it works that way!!
It also works that way with yourself. I feel like I did in H.S. ,,, I can't believe the lines I'm seeing on my face. Maybe if I deny it long enough.."Oh no, this is NOT happening to ME" ....Although ...I LIKE myself better now..so that's the trade-off I guess.
I thought it was a good idea, but only a few people actually posted.
I'm for it ... on another forum..someone called me brother! I said I am not a brother ..hello! I don't know who's male or female based on the screennames!
ray, for me too! I *feel* the same....how can I be 41?! lol....I am smarter now though, and while I loved high school, I love my life now so much more!
oh, and I agree about the name thing...it's so hard to tell!! well, though some people do sound more guyish, so I assume they're guys.....but you know what they say about ass*u*me......(can I type that?)

Isn't that true. I know it makes me feel bad I ever considered my grandparents "old". They probably still felt like they were in high school too! Then along comes cocky me...thinking I knew it ALL! When I think back to myself then ..I am a little more forgiving of my daughter and stepdaughters. Such is life..and it's all good!
My wife, at first, thought my father was a compleat *******. And if you didn't know him, that was understandable. It took her quite some time but she finally understood his sense of humor and outlook on life, and came to love him. He died way too soon and she still cries over him, and sometimes thinks she sees him in a crowd. We were both with him at the time of his passing. We drank a toast to him six days ago...
lol....I've never had a FIL....the MILs outlived them, well, that's the nicer way of saying it.... I know there are good MILs out there, I'm just not sure why, in a world where I get along with virtually everyone (ok, no liars or stupid people, ahem) anyway, why couldn't I get a nice MIL?? AND I'm an orphan to boot! it's not like I wouldn't *like* having a momish person in my life....tomorrow is my 2 year anniversary....we've all ready gotten cards from everyone EXCEPT...... yup MIL.
