Apple Fritters

2 cup flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ cup sugar
4 eggs
1 cup milk
4 apples, chopped

Mix dry ingredients, set aside.
In separate bowl, beat eggs, stir in milk and apples.
Combine with dry ingredients, do not over-stir!
Drop 1 Tablespoon at a time into oil you have heated to 375 degrees.
Fry until golden brown.
Serve with warmed maple syrup, or place 1 tsp cinnamon and ½ cup sugar in a paper bag, add warm fritters and shake to coat!
Can't wait to try this recipe out!!
The warmed maple syrup makes it oh so special.
Many thanks

Default change of subject, I just GOTTA share...

My kids (localed in Utah and WA state) went together for a Yule gift for me, and it arrived (or at least I FOUND it) today. The FedEx driver cannot (or will not) read and follow directions, as it was left on the porch of the door we never use, which has an arrow pointing "deliveries -- studio entrance" to the north porch.

Attached is a photo... all the "littles" hands (though don't tell my 16 YR granddaughter I have called her "a little" though! LOL) and on the pocket it says "Many hands make light work" which was something I used to tell my kids when I rounded them up for a project. http://www.ursai.net/blog/apron1.jpg (broken link)

Indeed... and as I work at the Hearth, with Frigga, no symbol could be more appropriate. My kids follow different paths (most are LDS - Mormon) but they all have the family talent of listening to the voice of Inspiration which comes to all who take the time to find the space in busy lives to listen.

I would think sharing would eliminate any need for explanation... it would to me for sure!

One horribly installed radio cable for internet + ice coming off the roof = no internet for two days. I don't think I can get caught up now but will try later.
