So you think Larry would still have been able to pay 2022 rents all by himself on his own?

According to 2022 Ziprecruiter and Glassdoor salary info, car salesmen in Los Angeles can earn six figures. 75th percentile for Toyota sales people are at an average of $98k annually. Luxury car salespeople can earn even more than that. So the entire premise of why you started this thread has been proven pointless. Remember, its just a tv show, its not based on reality.

Jack, Janet and Chrissy would all have been priced out of the area in 2022.

The Regal Beagle too. Out of business. Rent too damn high.

Inflation and the drop in our standard of living are like twin brothers.

In 1976 I worked three different jobs in Sarasota, Florida. One at a gas station and two busboy jobs at fancy restaurants, all part time. My total hours per week were in the 40-43 hours range. For a young man it was a walk in the park. I could quit a job and find the next an hour later.

I lived in a lovely, small studio apartment, furnished, utilities and cable TV included, only 250 yards from the best beach (Crescent Beach) in Sarasota. No streets to cross. We had a pool. I drove a used Oldsmobile Toronado and a new Honda CB 450 motorcycle, all paid for. I ate well, paid my rent days before due, and I could save half of my net income.

I'm not smart enough to explain what went wrong in our country, but I know it hurts, especially the younger generations.

You also had excellent percussion based music utilizing real instruments and orchestras.

Why yes, Glendale is just teeming with them. I think Glendale has the largest population of Armenians outside of Armenia.
