LIPA and lines?

Ok it is the line from pole to the box on the house service line ,,,{LIPA is saying since there is power and wire is just hanging it is our responsibility) passing over gargage ...not to gargage -house ..Yes I am aware I need to remove the tree as I said in the previous post . Thanks for everyones time .

LIPA told me the meter pan is theirs! I'm in a full blown war with them right now bc the line OUTSIDE is damaged and they have yet to come and fix it. They've gieven me countless reasons why they havent come or havent fixed it.

If the meter belonged to the homeowner, it wouldnt be a crime to open it.

Lines are LIPA's responsibility. Keep calling and get someone there. Good luck, I havent been able to get them to cut trees branches that are laying on the line and puilling it down bc i dont own the tree. My neighbors havent helped at all.

half my house has been out on and off for months and after paying an electrician to come out TWICE and verify its external, they STILL havent done jack.

Sounds like you are losing 1 phase of your 240v service. The meter pan is yours, they lock it so you can't flip your meter over and spin off $$$$$.
