The warm weather has not yet arrived, but the summer driving has!

Really loud motorcycles...and the average speed seems to have gone up 10 mph especially on Fri and Sat evening.

Where the heck is everyone going???

Ahh Yes....

Don't forget the full volume sound systems, some with giant bass boosting equipment in the trunk. Anyone next to one at a red light or stop sign won't actually have to hear the music (if you can call it that) to know they're there....

For some strange reason the cars that have these systems tend to be rather small, could they be trying to make up for something....?......

All the things being described are the result of small minded immature males. The big bass systems are the 17-25 year old wanna-be homies who like it when people turn their head as they drive down the street (people turn their heads when you burp too, but not because they like you)...and likewise with the overgrown children who flock down to Port Jefferson on their Harleys all summer long to stand around and look ridiculous.

The people across the street from my house have a 27 year old who still lives at home. This time of year he and his friend rev their motorcycles in the driveway every Friday/Saturday night.

(he's one of those 20-somethings who has all the expensive toys and vacations in Hawaii but still lives at home)

I can't help but laugh every time I walk by them. They stand around in their leather/denim wear, greying, usually obese...it's comical. I mean, I understand wanting to ride a motorcycle, but the whole "culture" around it is just ...silly.
