Has anyone tied Valley Fitness in Valley Stream? It seams decent and prices are right up my alley.
It's popular with people in the area...cheap and convenient. Can't give you specifics because I'm not a gym person. But a friend of mine is a trainer there and a few other friends and family members use the gym or have used it in the past. Never heard any complaints.
Dolphin Fitness in RVC is pretty good. That's $25 a month, no commitment fee.
The prices on their website don't reflect that. Am I going to have to go in there and haggle with them to give me this price? They had a 2 year deal for $19.99 per month but a $149 enrollment fee along with a $10 card fee. Not feeling that enrollment fee.

They do not mention anything about their prices on their site. Do you know their fee's?

Well, two things, 1. I enrolled with Dolphin slight after their opening, and 2. I was already enrolled at Synergy. So I told them that I had Synergy at $25 already so I wasn't going to pay any more than that. And since I caught them in the beginning, they probably didn't push the enrollment fee. I'm not down with an enrollment fee either. So, maybe you can push the fact that you're already with a gym and that an enrollment fee would break the deal, see what they say about that.
