Gibson LIRR service (Valley Stream: buying a house, buying, train station)

Hello,
I may soon be buying a house in Gibson and would have to take the Gibson Lirr to the city to be in the office by nine. I looked at the schedule and it appears the 8:06 would get me to Penn station by 8:42 but I wanted to see if the trains typically run on time or if there are usually delays etc. So if anyone who uses this line can advise on how it runs, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

The Gibson station is on the Far Rockaway branch. Unless there is track repair or weather delays, it generally runs on time.

You can take the extra 2 minute drive to the Valley Stream train station.

Trains to Penn Station run through Valley Stream frequently.
