Here's something fun to do on very hot days if you have to be out there. Stop into Costco and go into their 40 degree freezer section where all the cold produce is. The downside is coming out of there, a blast of heat from inside the store hits you.
I would join, but it was a pain the ass enough filling out those forms for Albertsons, Vons, Smiths, and CVS cards

Ridiculous

Well then I'm a weenie. I went to workout earlier and even with the swamp coolers in my warehouse I couldnt hang. I've lived 9/10ths of my life in either Hawaii or Socal where it's not exactly cold...BUT it's a "dry heat" just like my oven!

Thunderstorms rolling in here. Evaporative cooler is worthless. Miserable! Where is that dry heat?!

Just got back from the Y over at Centennial Hills with the family. Got a family pass for $199 that covers 4 months which is a steal. Kids went back and forth in the pool while I did the slides

108.6 on my thermometer which is on the shady side of my house as I type this.

The Admiral just walked the puppy dog around the block. Both came home happy.

we were showing property around noon. Hot but not uncomfortable. At one point there were about 8 of us standing in the street in an animated conversation about homes...lady drove by slowly looking at us like we were all nuts. But it was actually quite pleasant. We have gone to summer rules where we leave the car running while showing houses.

Note that this is the hot and dry time. In July it cools off a bit but the RH comes up more than enough to compensate.

Bargain! Here in my area of Japan, they don't sell cheaper in bulk. $1 each!

I was irritable yesterday due to the heat. It takes a week to get used to it for me. Now I will wait patiently for the monsoon to start. I love summer thunderstorms here.
