My friend and I will be having a drink at your bar in the near future, regardless of how things go at this end.

Thanks again! I hope you're excited about starting a new career in Las Vegas!
TOTALLY! Come in for a drink!! I am VERY excited about a new career n vegas but I am also very nervous! Not just new city but new STATE! That feels huge to me. Yes I come to vegas every month to see fam but I stay in the local area I can't remember that last time I went to the strip. Guess in May when I went to city center and after I went to Ceasers Palace. Lol I still am unfamiluar with where evrything is so I bought a vegas tomas guide lol just looking for studios or rooms to rent now. Boy! So much to get done before Dec 8th!

i love the dynamics and the input i can give and recieve as we put together a brand new kitchen, trying new ways to improve performance, the comradiere, to me it just makes for a more major bond between me the hotel and co-workers, something to remember years to come with pride. as where as going into a place thats already established you have no real input, your just doing the motions. this will be my third hotel/casino opening, second on the strip, so i'm excited.

Actually, tvegas023, with all respect to you, you're information is only partially correct. One, CC is not a Union House yet. The Union will need a certain % of the eventually hired bartenders to 'vote in' the Bartender's Union. Then the Hotel/Casino, in this case CC, will become a Union House. Right now, and forgive me if I get the term incorrect, but it's what's called 'hiring off the street'. This applies to newly opening Hotel/Casinos. The newly opening Hotel/Casino can hire whomever the newly opening Hotel/Casino wants to hire, hence the term 'off the street'. Once the Hotel/Casino becomes a 'Union House', all that you mentioned in your post, for the most part, would apply. Once the Hotel/Casino becomes a 'Union House', the bartenders within the Hotel/Casino will become Union Bartenders, even if they were initially 'hired off the street'.

Good luck to you!

Thank you mouse, that means ALOT to me. I only wish the best for everyone here. It just doesn't make sense that there is always someone trying to bring the other down. That's just how the world is. Sad.

This thread is to help people who are waiting and hoping. We are all positive and someone who was rejected or has absolutely nothing to do with their time decided to tick off people here. It's best to not respond and continue with your conversations with the positive people. It's all jealousy, plain and simple. Congrats, Pixy26! You dont need to explain yourself to anyone here that wants to upset you or put you down.
