Oblietta, that is great and positive thinking. We are all here stressed and worried and yes, if we are not showing inactive then we have to 'expect the worse, hope for the best'. I believe that we are indeed being hired one by one on this thread.

We have to stay positive!!!

At the MGM you didn't get a paper paycheck anymore. You can either have direct diposit or they'll give you a debit card that they will deposit your money into. You can only take money out at certain banks and only a couple of times per month. You can also use it to pay for stuff like a regular debit card and get cash back at the register. I hope this helps.

What position? What did your status say before the phone call? open/blank or open/active?

behind schedule/8,000 hires and 4,000 transfers-both full and
part-time. (City Center is'nt doing this 24hrs a day....but little
by...little). Each department also has scheduled...uniform out-
fitting days arranged...by department, so it won't be chaotic.
I am hoping that this brings some positive and good
news.....to those who are hoping for a call...for a job. There's
also going to be those.....who already have a full-time job and
don't want part-time, graveyard, transfers who will lose in-
house seniority, indecision, no-shows, etc....I hope you all get
a call and a job,: especially to those "few" that have
taken their "time" to post a positive and upbeat, encouraging,
"ray of light" on this thread. Good Luck to.....you all!!!!!!!!!!!!

last......friday......they were still doing internal transfers.....
and there was three no-shows!!!!!, I myself was supposed
to fill a slot at the Bellagio, and the person I was supposed
to replace....didn't want to go part-time to part-time to
city center, so it was a last minute change for a part-time
job at "aria". I hope this brings some positive news........
