We will be moving to Vegas and I am used to Whole Foods and or Central Grocery where you can get great organic foods and a huge selection of produce. I hate shopping the local supermarkets.

Does Vegas have these or something similiar and if so where are they located?

Other then Whole Foods you have Sunflower Market on Trop and Pecos which has awesome organic produce and many unusual hard to find goodies. Across the street from Sunflower a brand new place opened which caters to Jewish people a bit more with the massive selection of kosher foods. They have chocolate covered Jewish halva which will make you melt and Im not even Jewish !

I dont know of any others but there may very well be some.

If you are looking for the weird but edible you can try the International Market on Decatur and Trop. They have an isle for almost every country. British, German, Swedish, Japan, etc and then lots of Chinese isles. Do not buy their fish. It dont sell fast enough and they sell illegal shorts with the crustaceans.

Good luck !

There is also a Whole Foods on Charleston and Rampart, as well as a new one going in at Town Square. They are also in the process of building a Fresh and Easy on Durango and US-95 by the Walgreen's.

Our Stores | WholeFoodsMarket.com (http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/stores/nevada/index.php - broken link)

I don't mean to seem rude, but did you even bother trying to find this stuff out for yourself?

You can also check out the new "Fresh and Easy" stores.

You know you are not rude, I am for not searching this out on my own. I appreciate everyone's help and even yours for pointing out my shortcomings. Next time I will search more on my own. I had never heard of Fresh and Easy so perhaps my writing for help provided me insight on a new option

We DO have Costco and Steinmart...and Wild Oats, another organic supermarket, smaller than Whole Foods though...

You sound like my kind of people, Costco and Steinmart...they are good things Bev!
