What zips are considered Summerlin? What are the local casinos in these areas?
We are still looking/thinking and considering all possibilities.

Thanks for your help.

89134,89144, and 89135. There is the Red Rock Casino. Suncoast, Rampart and Marriot are just outside Summerlin.

So are they in the Canyons section of Summerlin? I just looked at the Summerlin interactive map and it does say the Marriott but not the other two. Forgot to add 89138. 89128 is the Pueblos.

check out Summerlin Las Vegas - Summerlin Homes for a good interactive map for amenities.

A split decision. You were correct about the Sun Coast. That was a Pecole Property. However the Rampart and Marriot were in the Canyons. I traced their ownership back.

Summerlin zip codes:
-89128 (The Pueblos - most people forget that it's even a part of Summerlin because of its location)
-89134 (The Hills, the Trails, The Hills South...and maybe the Canyons?)
-89144 (The Crossing)
-89138 (The Vistas and The Paseos, I believe)
-89117 (Parts of Summerlin Centre)
-89135 (South Summerlin)

So this would be considered Summerlin's "inner city?"

Two points...it is true.

I was in there previewing today. A couple of bank owned. One has a pool set on the edge of the canyon...the other is a grand estate with 40 foot trees. Both delicious houses for entirely different reasons. And in "that" part of Summerlin.

Is the world not screwy?

Yeah, something like that. It's actually not a bad area, it's just not as "pristine" and "refined" as the rest of Summerlin.

I really have to laugh!! The Pueblos is a beautiful area. My children's school is in the Pueblos and they have several friends that live there. The Pueblos has several gated communities that are beautiful. The non gated community that runs off of Ceilo Vista which backs up to the walking trails and surrounds the Meadows school is very nice. (The name escapes me at the moment) The sad thing about Las Vegas real estate is that people here think that anything over 5 years old is ancient and since most of the Pueblos is approaching 10+ years it really must be OLD!!! If I were to move back to Summerlin I would look in the Pueblos or the Hills (another OLDer community) simply for the maturity of the landscaping in the area and the "established" feel. I also love the Desert Shores area, which by Las Vegas standards is REALLY old.
