My mom lived in this area for a few years, and I thought it was great, simply for the fact you could literally walk to things. Albertson's, K-mart, the Library, Trader Joes were all within a mile of eachother. It's not something you see very much in Summerlin, but I think it's one of the top 5 things I look for in a place to live. Can I walk to the store?

(The name escapes me at the moment) The sad thing about Las Vegas real estate is that people here think that anything over 5 years old is ancient and since most of the Pueblos is approaching 10+ years it really must be OLD!!! If I were to move back to Summerlin I would look in the Pueblos or the Hills (another OLDer community) simply for the maturity of the landscaping in the area and the "established" feel. I also love the Desert Shores area, which by Las Vegas standards is REALLY old.
Oldness isn't the problem for most people...after all, people don't seem to mind the Hills or the Trails, which are also older areas.

I think the Pueblos gets a bad reputation because of the proximity to "poor" areas on the eastern border.
And the fact that it's zoned for Cimarron HS doesn't really help.

I agree that there are many beautiful houses, though.
