My main point was that you don't need to be a high level player in order to get free room offers. Secondly, I don't gamble in order to get comps, but it makes more sense to play at place that will give me something for the level of play that I'm going do anyway. So yes, I am getting more value for spending my money at a less popular casino

Yeah I won some money but I just can't justify paying $200-300 for a room.

Parked next to a semi busy street in a semi well lit business. Hopefully the usual freaks don't bother me.
You're looking at the wrong places. There's no need to pay anywhere near that for a hotel in Las Vegas.

Those were the actual rates for last night on Kayak. I was thinking maybe it was due to holiday or convention.

BTW the security for the business called the cops on me so I got kicked out again. Hard to live like a bum nowadays. Lol.

What is "lol" about that?

You're not Keith Moon. Don't trash hotels and that won't happen.

You could have stayed in any one of dozens of hotels around the valley for less than $100 last night, even with the holiday. You need to use all of the tools at your disposal, not just one.

He didn't trash a hotel. According to his posts, he was sleeping in his car on casino property. That's frowned upon.

How do they even notice you if you are quiet?

I guess! I'd like to say I've never slept one off in a parking lot, but that would make me a liar.

The only way sleeping in the parking garage works is in a delivery van or similar. Otherwise, the constant security patrols on bike will snoop out the moocher.

Seriously, why bother try to sleep for free in a parking garage? There are seriously inexpensive downtown and locals' casinos options, and hostels -- in the $30-50 range even on weekends. It's worth it just for a mattress, clean sheets and a shower.
