My wife is Filipino, and would really like to find a neighborhood that is safe for our family foremost, but also having a heavier density of Filipinos (if such an enclave exists). I will be working from my home, so locale is not an issue, in that regard. Appreciate anyone's input on this particular point.

I am a single man moving to Las Vegas in the next couple of months. Where is the best neighborhood (safe, clean and nice) to live; a nice apartment for the first few months or a year and then move to a small house? I would appreciate any advice and input.
Thanks,

I'd also like to know what areas are safest and have the best schools, and if they have a bus service, and what that costs.

What is the average rent in Summerlin? I'm looking for something nice and safe for around $800 per month. Is that feasible?

Yikes. well I have a whole lot of questions, but not sure where to start, plus moving to Vegas is only a maybe for us. Hubby is waiting to hear if they will call him back for any more interviews. Otherwise we will be staying in Cali. Which is fine, but he is getting nowhere in his job.
