Interestingly enough my asthma and allergies went off the charts when I got to LV...in Texas they've almost disappeared.

When in Denver they were moderate and in AZ non-existent....I just figured the desert would be best but apparently not all deserts.

Yes but in my neighborhood we had snow flurries a couple of days ago.

Last winter wasn't unusually warm for anyone, it was cold in Vegas. Frozen pipes cold.

It's 26 right now. That's too damn cold for me.

It's really weird, it's 71 in my apartment, but I am freezing. I can go outside wearing the same exact clothes in 50 degrees and not be nearly this cold. What's up with that?

Yeah, it's a bit early in the year for this. It's not even officially winter until the 21st. Last year we got a couple of weeks of this in January.

I was here for a while this past January during that cold snap. No bueno.. A little frost on the patio furniture this morning here in GV, and a reading of 28 degrees. The 7-day forecast doesn't have us out of the 40s. I can handle a couple months of cold knowing that it is ONLY a couple months

For some reason, the cold is bothering me more than it usually does. When we visited Alaska this summer, I stood out in the snow and never complained. This winter, I'm freezing and it's 45 degrees outside, which is hardly blizzard weather. I even got a nosebleed the other day. Maybe from the dryness because of the heater running all the time. Guess I'm just getting old.

Either way, I'll be relieved when we get back to typical Vegas winter weather (50s and 60s for the highs)
