As for me, I'd relocate the west end of Cheyenne (Desert Shores and westward) because of the more established neighborhood, ratio of newer and older homes, and accessible service to freeways/merchants I like to frequent.
I live close to there, but if I could do it all over again and take on a bigger mortgage I would pick somewhere over by the Vistas. Maybe off the Lake Mead and 215 exit.

So what draws you to the Vistas?

I like that it's up on the hill. I walk my dogs up there. The neighborhood seems friendly. I see a lot of dogs, kids, bike riders when I am out. Ten years from now, it will still probably look great.

I live in 89081. I live very convenient to 15 and 215. My house is great and there are some decent amenities around and others very easy to get to via the interstates. Some of the houses around are in foreclosure or blocks without HOAs or lax HOAs making the neighborhoods more disposable. If I didt have to commute and money wasnt an object I would probably still live where I currently do. Hopefully they keep the park well policed. I can easily see it becoming graffiti ridden and people letting their dogs run wild off the leash with loud music blaring. If the riff raff is kept out I could see it upping property values slightly.

"Legends" at the very north end of Durango. It's just the right sized community with single story homes on half acre lots. Great access to 95 and 215 also. You can be downtown in around 20 minutes yet it's one of the very last neighborhoods in the valley.

I will stay where I am currently residing in Spring Valley. It is centrally located surrounded by numerous parks, shopping, dining and bars. Suburban resorts are a very short drive away and the same with the Strip and Downtown. My neighborhhod has beautiful mature pine, palm, Mesquite, Palo Verde.....trees. Even with the commercial development in my community, at night time my neighborhood transforms and feels like its away from everything.

I like my neighborhood in the Aliante area, and I liked my Elkhorn Springs (now Centennial Hills) neighborhood. I'm kind of a west side girl. I think if I could pick again, it would be Desert Shores. Good restaurants, easy freeway access, relatively safe and very pretty.
