Biscayne Steakhouse at the Tropicana was one of my faves. Plus it got the fella to eat veggies, couldn't put his fork down. Highly Recommended in my books

I really enjoyed RM Seafood at Mandalay Bay but also Circo at the Bellagio. Circo is fancier and has a $49 3 course meal daily before 6pm, which is very reasonable. Excellent service at both restaurants.

But at the $30 price point, there's no better place in Las Vegas than Bouchon. Take it from a line cook who has eaten at every Michelin-starred restaurant on the strip...
Now there's a little piece of information that I must have missed about the Scooper. Explains a lot of questions I've had like, "how does he know that?"

Still have taken mo'lady to Bouchon, and I hear about it everytime we're near there. We bought some macaroons at the little Bouchon bakery kiosk though and were sorry we didn't but all they had.

There is also a nice Italian restaurant that is half in-half out inside Miracle Mile. Nice place. Not the best "Tally" food I've eaten, but not bad, with good atmosphere and all.

This was my salad:
OMG! The Tower of Power.

If it's famous and works elsewhere it's gonna end up on the Las Vegas Strip, Baby.

Perhaps the one here is better.

Glad you found a restaurant you like and had a good time on your birthday.
Dat Aria is a nice place man.

On the lower end of the chain, we finally got over to the Road Kill Grill at John Mull's Meats today. OMG! Only problem we ran into was a. we forgot the sauce; b. had to go to Larry's Meats for sausage casing unless we wanted ten miles of pig guts. Got sauce at Larry's/ Now about to try the peach cobbler from Road Kill. I love that place.

Told them I dropped off a deer in 1969 for processing and my late ex-wife failed to pick it up. Asked if they still had it. They didn't.

That place is quite the experience, isn't it? I liked the peach cobbler.

That's true, but we get pale imitations of the original flavor and scene, all cleaned up and sanitized for the tourists. For an excellent example, visit Margaritaville in Montego Bay or Ocho Rios Jamaica, and then visit the one here.

Don't get me wrong, I think everyone should visit the LV strip at least once. It has an energy all it's own.
