Yeah, I'm up near Fort Apache and Horse...

Sonic boom is not too absurd an explanation - maybe something over Creech's airspace, that we'd only hear at the tip of the NW?

Didn't hear anything down by Ann/95 at my location...

Soomething I've noticed on the mountains to the N of Las Vegas, it seems like (from Grand Teton/Hualapai area) there is something going on on the mountain and they shine a REALLY bright light on it, I've been wondering what that was, maybe mining perhaps?

Anybody know anything about the bright giant light being shined on Gass Peak at the base?

I've seen that too. Seen it coming off the interstate onto Horse. Not sure what it is. As far as it being from Creech it's possible. They usually don't do much at night though.

Is it a light you see at night, or a shiny object during the day? Because you can see the sun reflect off the radio transmitter building on Gass Peak, but it's usually summer when the sun hits it just right.

There is a mine at the far west end of Lone Mountain Road at the base of the foothills, right beside the Beltway.

The area I'm thinking of looks like maybe at the end of Decatur to the north. In that general direction. I have noticed the transmitter too though.

Are you referring to Clark County Shooting Park? Those lights stay on all night, perhaps part of the reason why it operates at a loss.
