Hello my fellow City-Data>Nevada>Las Vegas peeps,
My parents are coming here for to celebrate Christmas with us and we were wanting to know if there was good restaurant or buffet to go for Christmas Dinner. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Most neighborhood restaurants will be closed, so you'll most likely have to go to a hotel. Best buffet is either the Wynn, or the Bellagio. Be aware that Buddhists (aka: Asians) don't celebrate Christmas, and you will wait in line with 7 million Japanese people for about 45 minutes to an hour usually.

As Buzz noted, the buffets will have long lines, but you can avoid all of that by making a reservation at one of the many non-buffet restaurants in the Strip hotels. That's what my wife and I will be doing. Although we will be having a traditional home-cooked meal with friends and family on Christmas Eve, we made a reservation for Christmas dinner at a restaurant in Bellagio overlooking the lake. So we'll be able to walk through the conservatory before dinner to take in the beautiful Christmas decorations and then enjoy the fountains during dinner.

Last year I made reservations at Mon Ami Gabi & had a wonderful lunch there, no wait, regular menu. What a great decision that was;on the way in from the parking lot we passed hundreds of people waiting in line at the Paris buffet.
