Las Vegas has tried different things in the past...catering to mobsters, gamblers and eventually families. They are fiercely [like that word?] loyal...are usually 2 high-income earners and spend lavishly [another good word!] If you've ever been to Provincetown on Cape Cod (MA)....you know this can work!

First we need a test market. I suggest that dyn's place be renamed from the Four Queens to the Four *****s. We then need some heavy theming...my suggestion: a naval vessel...with all workers dressed as sailors...very trim...built...and hair cut short. The restaurant should be renamed to The Rainbow Room (obviously)...and key entertainment such as Liza Minelli and Barbara Striesand be booked for long and initimate engagements. No need to change the table games...they already have black Jack and craps (including the come bet). However...they may want to get rid of the Playboy slots and replace them with more Jackpot Party ones.

^^^^The place has been around for many years and doing well I would imagine since it is still open. Major resorts on the Strip are now realising the buying power of the GLBT community. Many have nights catered to the GLBT and also their pool parties, Mandalay Bay, Luxor, The Mirage....

Blue Moon Resort files for Bankruptcy, I guess they are not doing well. They've got the Mirage, Mandalay Bay, Luxor for starters as competition for the GLBT market and then their location is not really in the most desirable in Vegas.

Let's just hope "they can turn it around" and "exit" bankruptcy successfully!

^^^ Let us see if the Artisan can help revive the area, not really a pleasant area in Vegas but I commend these business people investing in an "up and coming" area. Goodluck to both Blue Moon and Artisan.
