The owner of the home had an indirect relationship to Bugs Bunny and Mickey Mouse.

Who was he?
Was he the fellow that threw a party for Walt Disney and Mel Blanc?

A party was thrown for him in late 1944 in Los Angeles by the folks who got their start with him.

I should add Woody Woodpecker to Bugs Bunny and Mickey Mouse.

Here is what the Federal Trade Commission had to say in 1953 about the company the man who lived in the house created, but it was after the son took over the business. The son lived in the house as a youngster.

Respondent is a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Missouri with its office and principal place of business located at 10922 Winner Road, Independence, Missouri.

Said respondent is one of the largest distributors of commercial or advertising films in the United States and causes said films, when sold, leased or rented, to be transported from its place of business or the place of business of the producer to motion-picture theaters located throughout the several States of the United States, where said films are displayed on the screens of such theaters for a specified period of time, usually one week. Upon the conclusion of the display period such films are returned by the theaters or exhibitors to said respondent or to the home office of the producer.

No.

The man died in 1945 while living at 43rd and Blue Ridge Blvd. His son took over the company as soon as he got back from WWII. The son died a couple years ago in Lee's Summit

Then you must be referring to the curmudgeon that delivered movies to the theatres. I think his name was Cogger.
