Would love to attend each of these, even the ones during college football season !

I am currently reading a new (2012) biography of James Butler Hickok. The author confirms the event on Independence Square in which he was given the name of "Wild Bill."

I love a good puzzler....and I've spent considerably more than 10 minutes on this one. But though there seems to be a British commonality with many of them, not so for all. So I think you've stumped us.

All are a part of the history of Old Independence, but you can't find them by driving around. Not only are they gone, they are mostly forgotten...

They all made the list the same year. All of them would have been on the list for multiple years, but not all entered and exited the list at the same time.

To further aid your sleuthing I'll give a few more names from that list, however, this still does not complete the list.
Christian
Clark
Fisher
Fowler
Gilmer
Harmory
Hutchinson
Johnson
Raymoud
Turney
