When to follow up? (interview, owner, job, opportunities)

So I had my second interview with the owner Monday. The Manager said they'd contact me. Should I send a follow up email to see what's going on? If so, when? I was thinking Friday or is that too long? I'd really like this job but I do have other opportunities if it doesn't work out. So I'd hate to wait to long and miss those. You guys know what I mean..TIA

I would contact them today. Friday is too long IMO.
