I applied for a job. I was called in for an interview on Dec 3. They told me that they would try and get back to me in two weeks.

I did not hear anything back in two weeks. I sent a thank you note and that I am interested in the job. I have heard nothing.

That following week, they took 2 weeks off for winter break. It is now Jan 8th and have resumed regular work schedule. Should I follow up with a phone call or is that too much?

Follow up with a email and restate your interest in the job.

"Hello.

"I met with you on 12/3 in regards to the position and wanted to restate my interest in this opportunity. Please call or email me with an update on the job opportunity at your earliest convenience."

Thank You
