Claymaster- actually, that means Private Message me, it's like an email, so it's just one-on-one and the whole group can't see it.

As far as our situation goes, we've decided that if we get our orders there (we should know by August), we're going to live in JAX- hopefully near NAS, which is where I'd like to work and I hear wonderful things about the commissary & exchange.

I might just be spoiled from our Hawaii exchanges/commissaries, but I found both on NAS to be a bit lacking and ALWAYS crowded no matter what time of day you go. I live out in Oakleaf and really rarely go to NAS at all even though my husband works there. I might meet him for lunch at the club on base, but beyond that I shop at target/publix and costco.

Anyone moving to Yulee needs to realize that traffic from Yulee to Fernandina is a mess. Sort of a Blanding Blvd. Nassau county style.

We're now due to go down in the Nov/Dec time frame (waiting for the Navy to release his orders) and we won't be buying, we'll be renting... but thanks Bob

Actually, instead of transferring, he's getting out of the Navy. We're currently in job search mode- trying to get back to MN where he's from... Thanks for inquiring
