Not yet... But we are considering moving to Yulee. We are currently in NJ and considering a relo there. Can you tell me a bit about the area and how long you've been there... Above and beyond the statistics on this site.

Thanks.

What did you want to know?

We live in "phony Fernandina" (the North Hampton - Amelia National area) that's actually about 3 miles at least West of the bridge. We're surrounded on all sides by Yulee. So it's really Yullee but the land developer wanted to get more for the lots so they got the Post Office to give North Hampton Fernandina mailing addresses..

It is funny that these lame developers think anyone is actually stupid enough to think that North Hampton is in Fernandina or that Amerila National or Amelia Walk are on Amelia...takes me 20 minutes to drive into the main part of Fernandina..

Can either of you give me more information on Yulee? I am being relocated to Brunswick, GA and I don't like that area and from what I have researched Yulee is a nice little town. What is the rental housing like or apartments. Don't want to buy until I am sure this is where I want to be. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Rental amounts seem to be pretty cheap in the newer higher-end areas like North Hampton, Amelia National, etc.

For some reason, there's pretty much a cap on what someone van get for a rental in this area, no matter the quality or sq ft of the house. Top end seems to be $1500-1800 for even a large 3000+ sq ft house with 5+ bedrooms...And I wouldn't be surprised if you found much better deals than that from someone who has moved and can't sell the house and needs to rent it..

It looks like good deals for the renter, bad deals for landlords...

The cheaper nearby developements (Lofton Creek, and the other one that ends with "Parke") should be lower than that...I'm expecting under $1000 for a 4 br)..
