That's weird - our low early this morning was about 46 out here at the Beaches - and it started to warm up very quickly. I know it usually doesn't get as cold here as it does inland - but there usually isn't that much of a difference. In any event - it was a gorgeous day once the initial chill disappeared. Robyn

I wore a jacket (not outside jacket, but one that went with my slacks) only and was comfortable walking through the parking lot from my car to the building at work. When I left in the afternoon, I didn't need the jacket anymore.

It was 37° in Avondale this morning at about 6AM, so I put on my hoodie and went for my photo stroll down to Riverside. By the time I got there and took maybe 50 pictures the hoodie came off and I was comfortable all the way home.

Well keep the thread going. Since you started it - we've had the warmest winter I can recall since we moved here 15 years ago . Robyn (nothing like playing golf on 2/1 in shorts and a short-sleeved shirt)

There have been some cool-to-cold days however. One day last month the temp at JIA was 35 at noon. Now that's definitely not t-shirt/shorts or golfing weather. I have high school classmates that live in northeastern Indiana and they have told me a few times on FB "you think it's cold there, come on up here right now". I replied, "no thanks, that is why I never returned to Indiana to live......gets to darn cold in the winters". But, then again, wife and I lived south of Denver, CO for 5 1/2 years and seen plenty of snow, cold and freezing temps.........won't go back to that either! We do have plenty of photos and video of all that Denver metro snow though.

Start digging your cold weather gear out for tomorrow and Monday, supposed to be well below freezing (even in Ponte Vedra) all the way down to 26 downtown and 23 in Macclenny.(highs in the 50/60's) But don't lose hope it will be back up into the 70's during the day by Tuesday.

Thanks for the heads up. I only have one fragile plant that I'm trying to protect this winter - lemongrass - and my husband is outside covering it up right now. Robyn

Funny how these poinsettias don't mind 30 degree weather. Bought them at Christmas and they are still beautiful and flush outside on my patio.
