Welcome!! We're glad to have you here!

I've never actually lived in Bloomington, only visited. Someone mentioned earlier that they are very different, and I agree. Fort Wayne seems more hardcore Midwest, while Bloomington seems like a strange mix of Kentuckiana rednecks and college town quirkiness.

There are plenty of clubs in Bloomington that attract national acts ... saw a few of them while a student there.

One rock club in Fort Wayne doesn't make it more punk rock than Bloomington. Bloomington, hands down.
I agree....I am a regular at the Brass Rail in Fort Wayne and it has nothing on places like the Bluebird or Rhino's. Plus....Bloomington has the piece de resistance of all punk rock/indie clubs....the video saloon. My mouth gets watery just thinking about that place. Haha.... Anyways if you want soccer mommy, conservative and like sports then fort wayne is your gig. If you want punk rock, a youthful crowd, and artsy then Bloomington is your place.

I'll second that too! One rock and roll bar does not a punk rock town make.
