I didn't refute a thing. I simply asked for a cite so I could read it is all. Why are you so defensive?
Here you go:

That increase translates into a 40 percent jump in the number of groups since 2000, when there were 602 hate groups operating in America, according to research by the Center's Intelligence Project
When the Federation for American Immigration Reform and NumbersUSA are classified as 'hate' groups, it's no wonder they seem to be on the increase.
How true! Lately, any organization or individual opposing illegal immigration is labeled as a "hater." La Raza is even trying to have "illegal alien" classified as "hate" speech.
Oh my! You mean you are really believing all that the SPLC says? They won't say a thing about the Latino hate groups and they call some groups a hate group simply because they are against illegal immigration. They are nothing but a joke except to those who want and have a need to believe them.
My point is that political action groups are being called 'hate' groups...
I wonder why organizations like SaveOurState aren't, they were founded by a white supremacist. Does the name John Tanton ring any bells? The man who has ties to white supremacist organizations? Let's face facts, the immigration debate is the head for white supremacist organizations right now.

This might be a slap in the face to some of you.

Most Americans have never heard of John Tanton because he operates behind the scenes, but he is the founder and/or early funder of almost every national anti-immigrant organization in the country, including at least a dozen groups. By his own admission, Tanton's creations include the largest and best known of the national anti-immigrant organizations: NumbersUSA and FAIR, which stands for the Federation for American Immigration Reform.
The Tanton-owned Social Contract Press publishes the views of white nationalists such as John Vinson, including a gem about how God prefers racial separation (http://www.thesocialcontract.com/cgi-bin/showarticle.pl?articleID=450&terms= - broken link). Tanton also publishes Camp of the Saints (broken link), a racist screed that uses fiction to warn white Europeans about an impending invasion of immigrants from India who will overrun the government, kidnap white women and make them into prostitutes.

Jackasses.
