The health care costs associated with treating undocumented immigrants are unclear because hospitals and community health centers do not ask patients about their legal status. According to USA Today, a recent Congressional Budget Office report found that at the state and local level, undocumented immigrants cost more in public services such as education and health care than they pay in taxes.

What a surprise. I am so sick of hearing people whine about the benifit they bring. I fully believe that more teenagers will have summer and part time jobs, seniors can work if they choose. We can fill the gap and maybe our health insurance will go down.

Yeah, no kidding.

And, let me tell you, many seniors HAVE to work these days since most of them are not rich, and need more than social security or pension (if they happen to have one - only 20% of companies give them now) and their own savings (which is about zero because of the high cost of living/stagnant wages).

Angry Logic

I know an 84 year old American citizen that cannot get a motorized scooter because of ALL the health care fraud. Illegals should go home. They should be ashamed. No, instead they laugh. They don't care and evidently the government don't either. Just ignorance.
