Is the argument that illegal immigrants all cause economic depravity and crime? Or that their brand of crime is somehow worse than the crimes legal citizens commit?
They live outside the laws, and by definition, illegals have zero respect for our laws. Of course they might not all kick and spit - but they all believe they are not obligated to abide by the laws of this country. And of course they are not the people who can make it back in their own country, and of course are not given any kind of background checks when coming here.
Legal immigrants with work sponsor of course are a whole different class of immigrant. Just by the fact of qualifying for a job that requires some paperwork be filled out and all that makes them very different than those who just flaunt their ability to break laws.

You are occasionally capable of performing feats of actual logic, so how is it that you'll post drivel like this from time to time without batting an eye?
Do people who speed by definition have "zero respect for our laws"?
Its questionable, but the reality is people who speed normally dont go on to commit other crimes.
For example most speeders do so because they are late or are just in a hurry.
They dont so thinking well after I speed I'll need a false ID, I'll need to live a lie and break more laws. In other words they dont start out chosing a path that leads to a life of crime after crime. Most speeders obey most traffic laws. So it can be argued that speeders don't respect speed limits but do respect the other laws.
Illegals it can be argued only respect the laws that help them and are willing to disregard any law that inconveniences their personal needs. ID theft or fraud, tax evasion or fruad,driving without a license, no insurance etc. And all by choice.

No, the argument is, their presence in this country violates our laws. You know, similar to people who leave stores without purchasing their merchandise. They are called shoplifters, and few, if any, would try to justify or excuse their behavior. Please explain why we should be expected to tolerate any “brand of crime” from foreigners who are here without our permission.
This is just the latter portion of a circular argument.
Assertion: Illegal immigrants should not be here.
Why? For one, because:
A. They commit many crimes.
Why is that a reason? Because:
B. They shouldn't be here.
Keep chugging along assuming the validity of your conclusions
It’s quite simple -- the U.S. is a sovereign nation, with internationally recognized borders, and immigration laws governing who may or may not enter. Ergo, illegal aliens should not be here, because they have chosen to violate our laws by entering our country without authorization, or failing to comply with the terms of their visas. Therefore, their illegal presence ALONE, warrants opposition.
