Had to look location; it’s near Krogers and BW3. If the food is halfway good, then BW3’s will take a hit.

The new complex in Town Madison, on the south side of Town Madison Blvd is coming along, but slowly. I'm sure the recent rains have slowed things down and it looks like pretty much all that's been done so far is laying large drainage pipes. I think it's called Silver Apartments.

Not sure if it's been mentioned here, but Town Madison will have a new fire station built, along with a new police precinct. Not sure when construction will start. That's a good thing for me since I live in Edgewater and the nearest stations are several miles away. Huntsville could use another precinct on the west side of the city but I don't know if that's in the cards or not.
It's the same complex I posted about several months ago. This is phase I of the development. The project showed up as Bonaventure Apartments when it went before the Huntsville planning commission.

Been a long wait , believe the location is on Nunnuhsae Park Drive, which is the road that runs along Apollo Park heading toward the amphitheater.

A hotel announced almost three years ago at the MidCity District in Huntsville is set for groundbreaking.

Officials on Saturday announced that Hotel Indigo will formally break ground on Thursday. The hotel is one of three hotels planned so far at the sprawling mixed-use development on University Drive that’s the home to the Orion Amphitheatre and Trader Joe’s.

You are correct about the location. The Madison County Tax Assessors Map has a parcel located on NUNNUHSAE PARK DR which is labeled Parcel #13.035 and has as its owner, VND HOSPITALITY-HUNTSVILLE INDIGO LLC with an address in Chattanooga.

The property is not very big for a hotel (about a half-acre) with dimensions of 200 ft. wide by 100 ft. deep.

This is similar to the lots that the Hampton Inn and Springhill Suites hotels which are located in the Village of Providence.

I'm curious what the Indigo will do for guest parking on such a small lot.

Any idea the origin of that name and how it's pronounced?

A quick Google search indicates it is a native American name for the Tennessee River.

Since all of these developments include retail space maybe we'll see it.

The Moxy Hotel are nice stylish hip hotels and are popping up in most cities, similar to Aloft.
This one in Chattanooga is probably very similar to what is planned here with different interior treatments.

Construction is progressing on the third phase of CityCentre, a mixed-use development adjacent to Big Spring Park near the Von Braun Center in downtown Huntsville.

The city of Huntsville issued a permit last week for a nearly $68 million building at 805 Monroe Street to City Center III LC. Capstone Building Corp – which is involved with several high-profile projects in Huntsville – is listed as the builder.

The Moxy will be 100 rooms with 15,000 sq foot food hall on the ground floor. 278 unit apartments, parking deck, office and retail space are part of this phase.

Moxy = tiny room, big price. But it works for some.

Guess this means the end of free surface parking at the AC Hotel.

Will all those things (the Moxy, apartments, office/retail) all in one building? $68M is a pretty pricey building (I assume it'll be low-rise), even nowadays.

Is 805 Monroe essentially across the street from the Embassy Suites? If I recall correctly, there's another large apartment complex going in on Davis Circle, basically next door to this development.
