Great location and nice looking building. Would have been interesting to see it play off of the Art Deco Times building across the street but then again this design is modern and won’t distract from it’s taller neighbor.

He's still talking about building what might be the "tallest building downtown" west of the existing hotel. I hope that comes together. They've been working the overall site preparation for quite some time now, so maybe it's a real go this time.

And - speaking of apartments. There is a LOT of apartment construction going on in this area now, and all seem to be of the 290 or so individual units. Haven't counted but there must be several thousand units constructed in the past year or two, under construction, or planned.

Yea we all would love to see an office tower no less than 10 stories. I hope the 2nd hotel there will be a good one. The restaurant selection for Constellation will be great. It’ll def be the hotspot of Downtown food.

At one time, I seem to recall he mentioned a 13-20 story building. Haven't seen a number recently.

From the website, "Huntsville City School Board enters purchase agreement on Blossomwood property."

I wonder if Huntsville City Schools plan to build a new (Middle?) school here.

Its the property near Maple Hill Cemetery on the corner of McClung Ave SE and Owens Drive SE.
