oh I was just thinking we were talking about places in Texas since In-N-Out, H&M and Trader Joes (Opening in Dallas) aren't in Houston.

I was talking about those expansion rumors. I was kind of being a little sarcastic.

I heard that Trader Joe's will be opening a location in Houston at the old Alabama Theater location where the Bookstop used to be.

I think all of the rumored businesses would do great in Houston.
I don't understand the logic of H&M and Trader Joes holding out of the big Texas market for so long. Just doesn't make sense to me.

I don't either. Considering that Texas is the 2nd largest state, I'm just surprised that such chain franchises held back from expanding into Texas a while ago.

Trader Joes and In N Out are HQ in California and are wide spread throughout CA. CA is a sinking economic mess...a lot of CA business are looking to expand into Texas due to the stronger and more stable economy...not to mention the business friendly atmosphere and lack of high taxes.

Trader Joes holds nothing to Whole Foods. TJ is actually kind of gross as well with a moderate amount of ok items.

This is what I like about them since I can't have the bun and to the best of my knowledge, there are no places around here that will wrap the burger in lettuce, although Whataburger will let me order a burger without a bun and without a hassle.
