Sorry, you don't get to have an opinion when it is horribly misguided and wrong. There is a reason why McDonald's U.S. sales are in perpetual decline on an inflation adjusted basis and why they had to go through a massive overhaul both in store presentation and in menu. Their food is absolute garbage. Only thing keeping that company alive right now is global expansion. Even that only lasts so long, once genuine competition starts to pop up then they struggle. Saw it in Korea where they had a nice dominant position which began to erode as local chains developed with better and fresher food. Eventually higher quality competitors will kill them overseas just as has happened here in the U.S.

Yes, I think most people also don't realize that there is a sort of healthy food revolution going on. There are more and more people wanting healthier and fresher foods. That alone will eat into the chains profits a bit. And global expansion is the reason a lot of these companies are still around, in the numbers they are. I think it's the reason so many of them put up such a fight in other countries, so they can stay. There are certain countries that don't want these companies there.

I agree with the lack of nutritional value in most fast food options but

Really? He doesn't get to have an opinion? He happens to like McDonald's. Lucky for all of us that we have the right to make choices and voice our opinions like you do.

I never get ketchup because that gravy is just too good

McDonald's is hands down the worst because of all the burger chains they are the worst as false advertising. You see the menus and your food NEVER even looks close to the picture. It's always sloppy and heated from under that lamp. Burger King comes a very close second.

The only reason I go there is if I'm in the mood for an M&M McFlurry which isn't often. Whataburger's burgers at least look pretty close to the freaking picture.I don't like burgers that don't often some lettuce on them. If you want lettuce at McDonald's you have to get a Big Mac *yuck* or a chicken something. No just regular burgers come with it. They just do meat and pasteurized cheese product.

McDonald's is the greatest. Don't let anyone tell you different. The foreign McDonald's are a hoot. Get a load of this chicken sandwich available in a Chinese McDonald's, for the princely sum of 16.5 RMB (~$2.70), including soda and fries:

I've never been to a Mickey D's where they use cloth napkins and serve soda in a glass, but I have eaten that chicken sandwich, and it beats any chicken sandwich I've had, around the world, at places ranging from sit-down restaurants, pubs, Fuddruckers to other fast food chains, including McDonald's stateside. If you're ever in that neck of the woods, it's definitely worth trying. KFC, Mickey D's, Burger King - they all have fascinating menu items in their overseas franchises.

I can imagine. Other countries probably take more pride in their fast food chains.

That is MacD"s???? It actually looks like real food!! (and super yummy too!!)

Zhang Fei...My husband and I went to China in 2001....don't remember seeing anything like that, though we were of course on a tour (a very good one btw, cuz the other members of our small 12 member group were family of the tour companies' Los Angeles based, but native Chinese. Fabulous, memorable time!!
