Wow. I don't even know what to say...other than I am scared for the rest of urban schools if Aldine is the "best". Ay-yi-yi.

Yes, Callo, I do smell the stench of yet another race baiting, class bashing, "nothing is worth a damn unless it's molded into white bread world" thread being started.

Remember we only hear the bad things that happen in Aldine and you know it always outshines the good.

Obviously, nothing good comes out of Aldine ISD. The Broad Prize for Urban Education award is given away by a bunch of idiots who have no idea what they are talking about. They blithley give away this million dollar prize thinking, "Eh, it's just a million dollars."

It's obvious you don't like Obama and Democrats, Callo. It's also quite obvious you don't like the "direction" some of our Houston neighborhoods are taking. Why can't you be happy about this award being bestowed upon Aldine I.S.D.? Look at the local media websites. Look at Chron.com. Chron.com has some rather bigoted posters yet when you look at the comments, the vast majority are very proud of Aldine I.S.D.

Why start a thread selling this as bull****?
