Hello,
We are thinking of moving into Katy area and kind of inclining towards the Silver Ranch.
But the only thing that is a hurdle is nearby day care facility. Is there any day care facility nearby , we could not see any when driving by, the area looks quiet under developed currently.

Any inputs appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,
Did you find any day care nearby, we are also planning to move to either Silver Ranch/Pine Mill Ranch.

Do post if you find out anything about these communities

Must the daycare be right in your backyard? Currently you won't find drugstores, grocery stores, gas stations... etc... backed right up to either subdivision... much less daycare.

You will find many daycares in the Katy area. Kids R Kids immidiately comes to mind (at Cinco Ranch Blvd & Gaston) My daughter goes to preschool at The Learning Center (Westheimer Pkwy & Mason) which has been +++

My advice is to look for a daycare on the route to work... not necessarily the closest to the house. I don't live very close to Mason Rd (Cinco SW) but everything I want or need is on that road. I can spend a whole Mothers day out running errands up and down Mason! Or if you have a school aged child... look for a daycare that transports to and from your elementary school. Also if you just need afterschool care YMCA hosts afterschool care on site of many of the elementary schools here.
