Houses are roughly between the upper 300's and lower 600's.
True but these drive times are optimistic. I'd add 5 to 7 minutes to each. Not much difference though.

I drive the Galleria and Greenway every day. That's how long it takes. In peak traffic it can take longer though.

In which city will you be living, redfusion, Houston or Seattle? The OP is posting the same question in both fora.

Wow! That's impressive. You're looking for an upscale community in two cities? I'd love to have your income/lifestyle. Do you mind if I ask what you do for a living?

I live in both cities and it's curious that you're posting the same question in both. Houston and Seattle could hardly be more different. Are you in the process of choosing? Where will your primary residence be?

Museum District is great & certainly up & coming. Some streets are zoned to Poe, most to MacGregor. BUT it's entirely zoned to Cullen for MS which nearly anyone would find unacceptable.

We have lived here (the Heights) for almost 4 weeks, loads of nice condos/town homes in upscale settings and diverse. I have met folks from Italy, Ethiopia, Croatia, Venezuela, NYC and others just walking the trails by the bayou. I love this area, set up well for singles, young families, and/or retired..search on HAR for the Heights and see what you can find..

Why the need for a diverse neighborhood?

I'm always a bit confused when I see this.

Is that you want to tell other people that you live in a neighborhood with ___________ people, so you don't feel racist?

Is it that you only walk to restaurants and feel the more diverse the neighborhood the more types of restaurants will be in walking range?

Is it that you only socialize strictly with neighbors and have a quota of the different ethnicities you want to befriend?
