Lol at Austin being so much more desirable than Houston. Worry about your hipster problem, lack of any real diversity, high cost of living and horrible traffic

Right now all you have to offer is price. Once that runs out, what will you have to offer? There are many other sunbelt cities that offer a whole lot more space and will start to become more desirable than the traffic mess that is Houston. Austin springs to mind. Yes we have traffic but we have greenbelts all throughout our city. We have paid attention to quality of life, not only focusing on business.

At some point you will have to pay the piper (literally).
Well smarty-pants, at that point, all the haters can leave. Whatever. It would appear that a few million of us have found good reasons to be in Houston, even if you can manage to discern them.

People have been saying pretty much this same thing about Houston for the past half century or so and somehow Houston just keeps on churning. But keep hoping cBach , keep saying to yourself its all about the prices, its all about the prices, its all about the prices...

I wondered how the house changed color - then I realized it is BEHIND the other little one. Easy to get blocked in.
I think the building behind might be a garage with an apartment on the top...

The house description as posted:
Cute SMALL single family house with 2 parking spaces directly in front. Photos show how cute it can look! Now vacant. Short term lease OK. No lease OK. Yes, there is a granite counter top in kitchen. Memorial Park is the area pool.
The bedroom is particularly inviting

A block off Fulton street may fit the bill. Buy now before whitey gets comfortable with the area.

As long as the crime rates are not so bad, it shouldn't be a problem for Whitey unless there's a class issue going on. Some people want a higher social status, and some don't really care.

Ya vicman. I lived near Patton and Fulton and would see the occasional yuppie get brave and jog or bike near moody park and the projects. Would be a Shame to see that area get gentrified because of its history. That's the real northside

You might want to have the dealership check your odometer.
