Hello all,
We are currently located in sugar land and I'm looking to start for 4 yr old son in swim lessons. He's a beginner, no swimming experience at all. I've been looking for nearby schools and across the Houston swim club in sugar land. Does anyone have any experience with it or any of it's other locations? Do you have other recommendations for kids swim schools in sugar land?

My son has been going to HSC in katy for 3 years -- learns a lot from his swim teacher. But during summer time when our community pool is open I hired a high school swim team member for private lessons.

Houston Swim Club taught my granddaughter to swim. She just got her level 4 swim card and safe boating card. It also got my autistic grandson over his fear of having water on his face. He can't really swim yet, but he jumps in and can sort of dog paddle now. This is the Pearland Location. I don't know about Sugar Land, but I hear good things about it.

Houston Swim Club is great. They WILL get your child to swim.

HSW is great. I've tried three locations and the Sugar Land one is small. I found the level of service there a bit low too. My favorite one is in Pearland.

Love HSC! My child learned how to swim very quickly there.

My daughter still goes occasionally to perfect her strokes etc. We don't have time for the serious swim club, so we just do the 2 week sessions. She still has not perfected her dives. Maybe next summer.

She swims better than most of her friends. Heck, she swims better than I do.

Thank you so much everyone for the feedback. I'll try to visit the sugar land location this weekend and hopefully start him soon.

HELP!! Angleton High School is in dire need of a swimming/water polo coach. The current coach is running the program into the ground. If you know of anyone qualified or interested please tell them to make a pitch to the AD.
