I'm not a hater, it's ok, but for me it's all about the best hole in the wall taqueria. That's the best stuff out there.

We have one in my town in California. Not impressed. And with all the great food you guys have in Houston, I can't believe people are excited about a Chuy's coming...

I can only vouch for the original Austin location and the one here on Westheimer.

It's solid for what it is. Just come expecting something other than authentic Mexican or be disappointed.

(Disclaimer: I'm not sure that I've ever gone into Chuy's not under the influence of some sort of mind-altering chemical. YMMV.)

The thing in Bakersfield is not the same. Texas Chuy's is good, if not really Mexican or even Tex-Mex, for that matter. It's just good, tasty stomach base for tequila drinks.

Never been a fan and have tried the ones in Houston and Austin...much better Tex Mex restaurants out there!
