I just found out about Life Time Fitness at Champions (Willow Chase Blvd). Anyone experience with this gym?

I go to the one in Cypress of Barker-Cypress and 290 as well as the one off I-45 and Spring Cypress. They are both ok. It gets pretty crowded sometimes and annoying that people don't wipe off their nasty sweat off the equipment. Also, they're not the fastest when getting broken equipment fixed. Other than that, LA Fitness isn't too bad. Just don't let the sales guys pressure you. They're like wolves.

Ummm, she's asking about Lifetime not LA. Anyway, great gym. Pretty busy weekdays from 5-8 though.

I heard stories about Life Time gym that even if you cancel your membership they keep charging you for number of months.

My wife and kids had a summer membership there and they really enjoyed it. They used the pools mostly and sometimes the rock walls & basketball courts. They do keep sending you emails and a few phone calls after you quit trying to get you to rejoin at a discount rate, but we never had a problem otherwise.

I have a membership there through my work so I'm a little biased since I don't have to pay for it, but I've been very happy with the gym so far. There is a lot of equipment available, and everything is pretty clean. Even when it gets at its busiest right after work I very rarely have to wait for a machine, and I never feel like it's unbearably crowded. There are also a ton of different activities and classes which is nice.

Thanks Mustang1!!

Can I ask that if you go to the Champions Life Time Fitness or a different location? I also heard stories about bad customer service at the Champions location.

I am more interested in the swimming pool! Also this is little near to my house. It is little expensive but maybe it is worth it.
