You don't watch much of them then. Yes, they bash on Republicans more than Democrats, but they bash on Democrats plenty. I have seen Jon Stewart absolutely tear Obama apart on his show more sharply than he has torn apart most Democrats. They are equal opportunity, it is just that these days the Republicans make it a little easier.

In my opinion (which is almost always correct), it would be great if Mayor Parker could serve for more than 3 terms. I think she's doing a great job putting Houston's finances in order while putting an intelligent, thoughtful and progressive face on Houston.

I really wish she could too!! She has been an outstanding mayor for Houston.

I like how she challenged the lawyer who wanted the red light cameras taken down. She said, yah, we'll put it on the ballot, and he said good we'll get them taken down, and she said no you wont... Much to her shock and dismay the people voted it down. Evidently people like their freedom, who'd a thought?

I really liked Stewart's tirade on the liberal Biased Media when Ron Paul came in a very close 2nd place in a straw poll, and many of the political news stations/shows didn't even mention his name.
Starts at 1:18 for those who didn't see it.

Gotta see this. I watch the Colbert Report alot and I had no idea the mayor of Houston is going to be a guest. I'm very interested in what she has to say.
