Hi,
I m new to Texas.Just recently moved here from east coast.I have to take my driver's license test.I m currently in Kingwood(77339) Can anyone suggest which is the best DMV (less busy and also road test is not hard for first time driver)

You can drive 40 minutes north to Livingston, no wait and easy drive. That is what we did for my wife. I avoid govt. offices in Houston whenever possible.

Ok that sounds pretty good.Do they ask for parallel parking also?I heard some DMV's don't test for parallel parking?

if parallel parking is beyond your current skill level, you're in for a big surprise when you get in Houston traffic. It might be wise to take some additional driving classes. Seriously, if you're not comfortable prior to taking the driving test....you will be a danger to yourself and everybody else you encounter on Houston roadways.

They do test for parallel.
