We are relocating to Houston from DFW. My husband's office is located off Loop 610 near 288. We are considering Clear Lake area. My husband grew up here and we are familiar with the area.

A little info:
Budget: $300-400K
Schools: very important...I have 9th, 5th & 3rd grader
We have a boat & would love to keep it, so being close to water is plus
Tennis: we all play tennis and would love to find a nice place to play

Back when my husband lived in CLC, there were only 2 high schools...now I see there are at least 3 or 4? All of the high schools seem to have good ratings, but I was wanting to get personal opinions. My son loves tennis and also would be very interested in the choir/drama program.

I have looked online and have seen many homes and neighborhoods very near or on the water. This seems like a dream, but I'm not sure of the pros and cons?

I would specifically like to know which neighborhoods go with which schools. We need a fairly large house 4 BR/3200 SF min. I personally don't care if the house is old or new and don't mind doing some updating.

Thanks for your help!
Mel
