Hi,

I am planning to buy a house in Kingwood. I prefer to stay close to 59. I looked a couple old of houses in Oakhurst but had some bad experience , The new ones in this community are little interior and expensive.

I am looking at a house in Auburn trails , its comming up just now only about 10-15 houses being built in the community. I am looking at a Lennar house 2800 SFT for about 210000..Is it a good deal . and how is this community ??

Help me out guys ..house hunting is like

Thanks
Andy

One thing I would note is that as of this year Oakhurst is no longer part of the KSA so despite having the word Kingwood plastered everywhere you can not get a K sticker and use River Grove park or
other Kingwood amenities. I consider this to be serious false advertising on the part of Friendswood Development.

Well we have our own parks, playground and community pool which are all nice. They sent out a survey asking us what amenities we want to add to the community. I guess they need to justify leaving KSA by spending the money here. They slipped the notice into the quarterly community newsletter, but I still see Kingwood prominently displayed on every bit of Oakhurst marketing material. They must have paid KSA for the right to use the name even after leaving, or maybe the name is owned by Friendswood development. They are the ones who developed Kingwood and are also the ones developing Oakhurst.
